Harvesting Joy

Gather the Light, Tend the Field

Peace and Abundance, Ankhora family!

Welcome to Ankhora's biweekly nurturing of the sacred trinity - mind, body, and soul. In each newsletter we intend to bring you a dose of inspiration, wisdom, and practices to enhance your well-being within those three major layers of life.

Family, we stand at a bright threshold: the 10/10 portal approaches, the Sun is roaring at solar maximum, Schumann spikes are humming, and Earth herself is shaking off old skins. Some days it feels like awe and ache arrive together—natural disasters on the rise, headlines designed to fracture attention, “powers that were” amplifying noise while the soul asks to align with that internal signal. Remember, you are not powerless in this moment. Joy—real, embodied, grounded joy—isn’t denial; it’s a stabilizing current that lets you carry light through turbulent weather.

Let “harvesting joy” be your daily devotion. Harvest does not mean pretending the field was never stormed; it means gathering what did grow and feeding the village with it. Name three small joys before noon (sun on skin, clean water, a kind text). Breathe long on the exhale (in 4, out 6–8) and feel your nervous system settle. Joy softens the jaw, widens the chest, and keeps your attention sovereign so you can meet the moment clear-eyed, not captured by fear.

On 10/10, try a simple ritual: place a glass of mineralized water and a candle by a window. Write four lines—(1) one joy you’re claiming, (2) one lesson you’re keeping, (3) one weight you’re releasing, (4) one seed you’re planting for the next 40 days. Sip, breathe, and visualize gold light moving down your spine into the earth (roots), then back up into your heart (harvest). This is how cosmic “codes” translate into human choices—clean water, clean breath, clean intent.

Guard your attention like a sacred crop. Limit doom-scroll windows, choose one trusted news source, and replace the rest with action: check on a neighbor, donate where it counts, keep a simple emergency kit. Power tries to scatter the many; purpose gathers the few into one steady chord. Speak truth with kindness, set boundaries without heat, and let your yes remain holy.

Over the next couple of weeks, keep a simple triad each day: one act of care for the body (hydrate, move, sleep), one act of order (clear a drawer, pay a bill, finish a task), one act of service (message of encouragement, shared meal, small contribution). Joy multiplied by usefulness becomes courage. As the portal opens, may you walk with a soft heart and a strong spine—rooted, radiant, and ready. Harvest what is good, share what you can, and let your life be the lantern that leads others safely home.

Mindful Alignment:
  • Mental Gem: Healing begins when the story you tell yourself evolves from survival to possibility.

  • Mindful Moment: Evening Candle Thanks - Before bed, light a candle, speak (or write) one sentence of appreciation for the day, then gently blow it out—symbolizing closure and peaceful rest.

Physical Alignment:
  • Herbal Spotlight: Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) is a calming brain-and-circulation tonic long used to boost mental clarity, focus, and balanced mood—great for study, meditation, or easing “mental static.” Its triterpenes (like asiaticoside and madecassoside) support microcirculation and healthy veins, while promoting collagen synthesis for skin repair—think wound care, scars, and overall skin resilience. Many also find it steadies the nervous system, easing mild anxiety and tension without stimulants (it’s unrelated to kola nut and contains no caffeine). Enjoy as a tea or tincture, or use standardized extract (~250–500 mg/day). Notes: avoid during pregnancy/breastfeeding; use care with sedatives or liver conditions—consult a qualified practitioner if unsure.

  • Top Tier Nourishment:

  • Tuning into the Body: With many, including myself, experiencing waves of exhaustion, anxiety, and some irritation - this is a time to really tend to your body and internal state of being. Rest when needed and be sure to ground your energy, as well as exercise to integrate all of this energy we are absorbing. As always, make sure you are eating the foods and consuming the nutrients your body needs. Stay hydrated and make sure your cells are nourished on every level as we go through this energetic window.

Soulful Alignment:
  • Soulful Insights: End each day by naming one lesson learned and one joy experienced; let this pairing weave growth with gratitude.

  • Affirming the Best: Why is it so natural for me to transform challenges into wisdom?
