Welcome to Ankhora's biweekly nurturing of the sacred trinity - mind, body, and soul. In each newsletter we intend to bring you a dose of inspiration, wisdom, and practices to enhance your well-being within those three major layers of life.

There has been a lot going on, so last week’s message was postponed; please forgive the delay. Though this message arrives a bit later than expected, it carries the essence of the Spring Equinox from March 20th and the true new-year energy we’ve all been feeling. Sometimes, timing unfolds differently than we plan, and these unanticipated shifts can act as gentle reminders that we exist in a larger flow. Even when we arrive “late,” the message is no less potent or meaningful.

The recent weeks leading up to and following the equinox have been charged with powerful energy, prompting many of us to experience heightened emotions and unexpected revelations. It’s as though the Earth itself is waking up beneath our feet, and our spirits are responding with a surge of inner growth. This process can be both invigorating and overwhelming, especially as we work through old wounds, patterns, and beliefs.

If you’ve been feeling more sensitive, anxious, or emotional than usual, know that you’re not alone. The planetary energies this spring have been especially potent, stirring deep layers of consciousness and urging us to release what no longer serves. This release might manifest as sudden tears, vivid dreams, or a strong desire for solitude. Honor these cues as invitations to nurture your mind, body, and spirit.

The beauty of this season is that it symbolizes renewal and second chances, even if we’re arriving to them a little later than we intended. Like seedlings pushing through the soil, our hearts and minds are opening to fresh possibilities. This post-equinox period can be an opportunity to reflect on any shifts that have already taken place—and to set intentions for how we’d like to carry these lessons forward.

Give yourself permission to integrate at your own pace. Remember that personal growth isn’t a race; it’s a cyclical journey that flourishes when approached with patience and compassion. Whether through journaling, meditation, conversations with trusted friends, or simply a quiet walk in nature, find small but meaningful ways to support your ongoing evolution. Trust that every step you take has value in the grand design of your life.

In this moment, may you embrace the spirit of spring—letting the warmth of new beginnings melt any lingering cold from winter’s end. Despite the late arrival of this message, its essence is timeless: you are right on schedule for the growth and expansion meant for you. Allow the renewing energies to guide you gently into a season of blossoming, both within and all around you.

Internally, calendula is often taken as a tea or tincture to support digestive health and gently assist the body’s natural detox processes. Packed with antioxidants, it has a long history in herbal traditions as a versatile ally for overall well-being.

  • Tuning into the Body: I’ve been drinking different herbal teas almost daily and making sure to get outside as much as possible to assist my body in acclimating to everything going on. Working out, breathing deeply, and staying flexible has been key to allowing the energies to move easier within. Taking moments of silence and having some time for solitude has been much needed, and I can see how it would have been forced had I not allowed it to happen naturally. Once I was able to ground and put my feet on the Earth, that helped me tremendously mentally and physically with my energy.
