Welcome to Ankhora's biweekly nurturing of the sacred trinity - mind, body, and soul. In each newsletter we intend to bring you a dose of inspiration, wisdom, and practices to enhance your well-being within those three major layers of life.

The recent eclipse and Virgo New Moon have ushered in a sequence of purifying waves as we entered the Autumn Equinox. Everyone is experiencing intense solar activity, soaring Schumann readings, and a steady stream of “codes” that amplify whatever we carry, whether they are aware or not. If life has felt like standing in the surf—pulled forward, rinsed clean, then asked to stand again—know that you are not off course. These currents aren’t here to overwhelm you; they’re here to clarify you, to strip away what’s borrowed so your true signal can broadcast clean and strong.

With strong light often come strong sensations: head pressure, ear ringing, heat surges, vivid dreams, mood swings, sudden fatigue or sparks of genius. Treat these as integration signals, not alarms. Keep your protocol simple and steady: hydrate and remineralize (pinch of sea salt or electrolytes in water), favor clean, mineral-rich foods, and invite gentle allies like nettle, lemon balm, or dandelion. Ground daily—bare feet on earth for 10–20 minutes. Breathe longer on the exhale (in 4, out 6–8). Choose low-stimulation evenings, a warm Epsom-salt soak, and true darkness at night so your nervous system can weave new light into living tissue.

Virgo’s medicine is practical devotion. Each day this week, choose a clarity triad: one act of cleansing (water, breath, sunlight), one act of order (tidy a drawer, finish a lingering task), and one act of service (a kind message, a helpful share, a small donation). Journal three lines: What is being washed away? What is worth keeping? What is ready to grow? Boundaries are also a form of purification—say a loving no so your sacred yes stays bright.

Let the emotional body rinse as well. When old stories or grief rise like silt in the water, meet them with presence rather than push. Name the feeling, breathe it through the heart, and release it on the exhale. Practice the cycle: release, repair, recommit—release what’s complete, repair what is yours to mend (a habit, a conversation, a promise to yourself), recommit to the path that actually nourishes you. This is how the waves polish the stone.

October brings more high-voltage days, so travel light: fewer tabs open (on screens and in mind), more rhythm and ritual. Keep a daily anchor—water, sun, earth, breath, intention—and let it be enough. As you honor these purifying waves, your field gets cleaner, your choices get quieter and truer, and your purpose comes into focus. Stand where the water meets the shore inside you; let what no longer serves drift out, and let what is yours return—clear, aligned, and ready.

Mindful Alignment:
  • Mental Gem: Authenticity magnetizes; pretense repels—be the signal, not the static.

  • Mindful Moment: Micro-Doodle Break - Set a two-minute timer, draw continuous loops without lifting your pen, then observe any patterns or emotions that surfaced during the flow.

Physical Alignment:
  • Herbal Spotlight: Rhodiola rosea is a classic Arctic adaptogen used to enhance resilience under stress while sharpening mental and physical performance. Standardized extracts (typically 3% rosavins / 1% salidroside) can help lift mood, reduce fatigue, improve focus and memory, and support steady energy by balancing the HPA-axis and mitochondrial function. Many also find it aids workout stamina and recovery and eases the drag of seasonal or altitude-related stress. For most adults, a common range is 200–400 mg in the morning or early afternoon (it can be too energizing late in the day). Caution: avoid during pregnancy/breastfeeding; use care if you have bipolar spectrum conditions or take stimulants/antidepressants—consult a qualified practitioner before starting.

  • Top Tier Nourishment: 

  • Tuning into the Body: My body has been calling for much of the same practices and routines I usually do - yoga, qigong, and eating life-giving foods. I feel like I have been more on my 1-2 meals per day, depending on what my body is asking for. That has included consuming a lot of coconut water to stay hydrated and eating a ton of fruits and vegetables. Mushrooms have been in my intake heavily lately as well, providing great sustenance. I have been consistent in my workouts as well, lifting every other day. With the energies we are taking on at the moment, I have also been called to ground my energy and connect with the Earth a lot more as well. Get outside and soak up the sun, ground your energy, and get in tune with the Earth’s frequency so your body will be able to adjust to all of this energy more easily now and going forward.
