Finding Calm in the Middle of Change
Peace and Abundance, Ankhora family!
Welcome to Ankhora's biweekly nurturing of the sacred trinity - mind, body, and soul. In each newsletter we intend to bring you a dose of inspiration, wisdom, and practices to enhance your well-being within those three major layers of life.
The past week carried a frequency that was unmistakably different—subtle yet unmistakable, like the air before a storm that never quite breaks. Many have felt heightened awareness, time bending, and synchronicities stacking so quickly they blur into a single, clear message: you are precisely where you need to be. Astrologically, we are moving through a convergence of energies that favors recalibration over acceleration. The cosmos is not asking for more effort right now; it’s asking for coherence—a return to the inner axis that keeps you steady while everything else shifts.
As we move into the days following 1/29, planetary alignments continue to emphasize internal order amid external flux. When change comes quickly, the nervous system can feel stretched, even when the changes are positive. This is why many are sensing both excitement and fatigue, clarity and disorientation. The medicine is centering. When you pause, breathe, and ground, you allow the body and mind to integrate the upgrades already received. Calm is not avoidance; it is integration made visible.
Collectively, timelines are reorganizing. Old structures are loosening, new pathways are forming, and the spaces in between can feel unfamiliar. Synchronicities are appearing not to impress you, but to reassure you—signals that alignment is active and guidance is close. Pay attention to repetition: words you hear twice, numbers that follow you, themes that echo across conversations. These are gentle nudges inviting you to trust the current rather than resist it.
Internally, this is a moment to simplify. Strip away excess noise, obligations, and expectations that pull you off-center. Return to the basics that restore equilibrium: hydration, rest, slow movement, and honest reflection. Ask yourself one anchoring question each morning: What brings me back to myself today? Let that answer guide your choices. When you act from center, even small decisions carry clarity and grace.
Remember, calm does not mean stillness—it means stability. You can move, create, decide, and build while remaining centered. As the world continues to change around you, your inner alignment becomes your compass. Return to center often. From there, everything else finds its place.

Mindful Alignment:
Mental Gem: Center yourself first; then choose your course of action.
Mindful Moment: Start with slow neck rolls; 3 clockwise and 3 counterclockwise rotations. Breathe into your belly; Inhale going up, exhale going down.

Physical Alignment:
Herbal Spotlight: Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) is a powerful yet gentle liver-supporting herb long used to protect, regenerate, and strengthen the body’s primary detoxification organ. Its key compound, silymarin, acts as a potent antioxidant that helps shield liver cells from toxins while supporting bile flow and metabolic balance—benefits that often translate into clearer skin, steadier energy, and improved digestion. By easing the liver’s workload, milk thistle also supports hormonal balance and overall vitality, especially during times of stress, medication use, or dietary excess. Commonly taken as capsules, tincture, or tea, standardized extracts are typically used at 140–210 mg of silymarin, 1–3 times daily. Note: generally very well tolerated; those with ragweed allergies or on liver-metabolized medications should consult a practitioner.
Top Tier Nourishment:
Tuning into the Body: Appetite up some days, down others. Intermittent fasting is a normal practice for me, but it seems more pronounced the past couple of weeks. Some days I may not even break my fast til mid-afternoon. I would say my splits are more 16-18hrs fasting, and the remaining 6-8hrs for refueling. Being on the go and being a bit fatigued, my workouts are still top of mind, but I have taken it a bit easier to rest. And every chance I get to bask in the sun, you can count on me being outside. Luckily, we have had some warmer days in Florida than other places so I am grateful for that. Stay warm and safe for those in colder climates!
