Peace and Abundance, Ankhora family!

Welcome to Ankhora's biweekly nurturing of the sacred trinity - mind, body, and soul. In each newsletter we intend to bring you a dose of inspiration, wisdom, and practices to enhance your well-being within those three major layers of life.

How’s everyone feeling? Anybody else feeling all of these energies and shifts going on within the planet right now? Since the last newsletter it has been a rollercoaster of emotions and purging for me. From digestive issues to mild headaches to being extremely tired, as one who is an energy sensitive, I have definitely been feeling everything that is going on. 

For those unaware, the sun has been releasing very powerful solar flares with several being X (highest level) and M caliber (2nd highest). That means there is a ton of plasma and radiation is engulfing the planet and it is affecting literally everything in some form or fashion. Some refer to these symptoms many are experiencing as ‘Ascension Symptoms’ due to this incredible time of enlightenment that the planet is going through. 

Going back to ‘en-lighten-ment’, the sun is giving us tons of activations and downloads with the light it is emitting, which will be felt physically and mentally within. This is the perfect time to soak up the sun and make sure you are connecting with the Earth to help balance and harmonize these energies. Remember to stay hydrated as well. I have found coconut water and water obtained through other fruits and vegetables to be most hydrating for myself outside of traditional water. 

Eating local and homegrown is definitely beneficial as well. The closer you are to your food source the better effect it will have on the well-being of your body. Also, eating in alignment with the seasons is also highly beneficial. Whatever is growing at this time is 9 times out of 10 probably what your body needs. Nature always provides what we need when we need it. 

Mindful Alignment:
  • Mental Gem: Your mind is a garden; your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers, or you can grow weeds. Nourish your mental landscape with positive, empowering thoughts, and watch how your life begins to bloom.

  • Mindful Moment: Perform a Body Scan (Yoga Nidra meditations are how I learned this technique, as well as how to meditate): Take a few minutes to mentally scan your body from head to toe. Notice any areas of tension or discomfort without judgment. Breathe into those areas, imagining relaxation flowing through them, releasing stress and bringing awareness to your physical well-being. This is a very powerful and relaxing practice.

Physical Alignment:
  • Herbal Spotlight: This week’s herbal spotlight goes to one of my favorite plants, aloe! Aloe, known for its soothing and healing properties, is a powerful herb used both topically and internally. When applied to the skin, aloe vera gel can help reduce inflammation, heal burns, cuts, and sunburns, and moisturize dry skin. Internally, aloe can aid digestion, support gut health, and act as a natural detoxifier. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, making it helpful in reducing irritation in the digestive tract and supporting immune health. Aloe is also rich in vitamins, such as vitamins A, C, and E, which promote skin regeneration and overall wellness.

  • Tuning into the Body: With as crazy as the past couple of weeks have been, the nutrients I have had to put in my body have been essential. Again, hydration at this time is key. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, especially structured water from fruits and veggies. Load up on your superfoods and make sure your cells are properly nourished!

Soulful Alignment:
  • Soulful Insights: Take alone time for yourself. Make sure you can identify your thoughts and energy apart from the constant influence of those around you. Being able to separate your energy from others will help you gain clarity around the things you truly want for your life.

  • Affirming the Best: How good can it get? What is the best that can happen?
